you can put the same iPhone onto a different MagSafe stand, and it will remember if you’ve set it up before. So without your doing anything each time, just putting the phone onto a charging stand with the phone in landscape can get you totally different results.
Did not know this. The future of iOS is being more contextual aware and perhaps take on different use cases in different situations
This UI feels so out of place
Don’t stay there cat 🐈
All ready for tomorrow!
What are you planning to set the action button to?
You can “zoom” to any focal length between 1–2× and you’ll still get a 24MP image: 1.4×, 1.7×, 1.9×, whatever. 1.2× and 1.5× get special treatment in the Camera app simply because 28 and 35mm equivalents are so popular.
Interesting. Seems like the “zoom” is really flexible
the people who are responsible for this have destroyed the privacy of billions of people while pretending this is a realistic goal. Just one more tracking script and one more data category — that ought to do it.

I thought about natural but I like more colour, even if it’s only a tad.

Why can’t people let others enjoy what they enjoy without the negativity and holier than thou attitude?
If people want to buy a new iPhone each year let them and get on with your life.
Looks like the GM of iOS17 is out. 6.5gb update!
Still no mention about this new journaling app release. Just a fleeting screenshot.
Where is it?!?
Good news for once. Prices in the UK have gone down slightly, starts at £999 instead of £1049 last year.
I am really interested in how the focal lengths work on the new main camera.
With the ability to shoot in 2x now. That makes the iPhone 15 super compelling.
The question isn’t whether some people will be mad, it will instead be a question of whether a wide swath of the iPhone-buying population becomes actively upset about this.
I don’t think anyone will actually be upset. They will just appear so for internet points.

After just half a day of work I am already convince on the LG DualUp.
I work on Print and web, both of which are in portrait so it fits in perfectly.
Logged in to Threads to see what I was missing. As I expected, absolutely nothing. But Meta won’t let me de-activate my account again for 7 days.
So deletion it is. I was just hanging around waiting for federation anyway. People can find me where I want to be (here).
I’ve just taken delivery of an LG DualUp monitor and I have very mixed feelings about it.
people like pretty colors and even if people are going to use a case (most will), they still care about the color.
Agree completely. To say colour doesn’t matter to people because you don’t care is silly. I don’t want a boring colour iPhone I want something colourful and bright.
Meta will ingest these pieces of data specifically: * Username * Profile Picture * IP Address * Name of Third Party Service * Posts from profile * Post interactions (Follow, Like, Reshare, Mentions)
And so, it begins.
To be clear you give up all this data to a Mastodon server anyway, but i trust them more…
Ask yourself, what are the walls you’ve built to protect yourself? Are they helping you, or are they shielding you from the opportunities that life has waiting for you?
Good morning everyone
Shout out to @vincent. Sent me an email solving a bug in my blog before I even asked! Man’s a genius.
This is where the iPad is today. It’s good enough for what it does. If it doesn’t do it, it doesn’t do it. This is the fundamental difference between the Mac (a platform that basically lets developers and users do anything they want) and the iPad (where if Apple doesn’t specifically allow it, it can’t be done).
Most of my close friends (and even my parents) know about my blog, but hardly any of them read it and that’s the way I like it. If I knew all of them read every single post I would feel less free to write my thoughts here. But I’m quite content to keep hiding in plain sight.
We went to meet another family with a child that has the same genetic condition as Lucie today. MEF2C haploinsufficiency syndrome is extremely rare, possibly as few as 50 people are known, and to have someone just down the road from us is amazing.
Whenever anyone proposes new rules or regulations, the people affected always have reasons why this is a terrible idea that will cause huge damage.
Considering the three types of “No” is something you should always do. Is the response I don’t want to, I can’t, or in fact is it wrong.
Might have to dry the table first 🏓
If you’re not sure how screwed the world is. Just have a think about how many industries would be ruined if we all slept the amount we are supposed to.
Looks like I am will be steering clear of all social media for a few days because I still cant mute words on micro.blog.

It’s that time of year where I try to work out when is the optimum time to sell my iPhone.
Its a balance between getting the most money for it and not having to use an original SE for too long before the new one comes out.

Lazy Sunday so playing around with my Homescreen. Widgy is really nice and pretty powerful.
Losing motivation on Threads. I said after a week or so I felt like I had my friends back. Unfortunately most seem to have returned to the bad place.
Anyone still there?
I’m already over 25% of the way to my fundraising target for Epilepsy Society. Huge thanks to everyone who has helped so far. Learn more about London for Lucie here www.gr36.com/2023/08/0…

all things worth having in life will require effort and time, hence the need to be able to delay gratification in order to actually fulfill whatever goal or result it is you want.
I worked on a daily boredom period last year when this started to be a thing. Worked great for creative work
Most of today’s email clients are built around the concept of Inbox Zero, which effectively turns your email inbox into a todo list with public write access
This is an interesting way to look at email. True for my relationship to it as well.
Thanks to everyone who has donated so far! I was in the top 20% of fundraisers last month.
Samsung are very kindly sending me a Galaxy Fold 5 to review.
Excited!
I’m delighted to have a place in next year’s London Marathon.
I am raising much needed funds for a cause very close to my heart. My daughter Lucie has epilepsy that affects every area of our life. Please give whatever you can.
I love that people are doing such wonderful work using iPhones, but I’ll keep my nice cameras that I enjoy using to make mediocre snapshots, thanks.
I agree with @jack. I take a lot of photos on my phone because it is usually the best camera i have with me. However, for me photography is more about the process of taking the images and the things it says to me than the perfect outcome.
The fact that phone cameras can take such amazing pictures now is brilliant, but the standard experience, at least on the iPhone, needs work.
This morning was battery changing duty on Lucies Toot Toot cars. We currently have 19 as a few of them were not recoverable ☹️
Here she is making sure I’ve lined them up straight enough.
I think I’m done with Threads. Not because I don’t like it, I just can’t be bothered to check two social networks and cross post things.
Looking forward to being able to follow people on there
I went to talk to about fedi experiences with people on the very impure Bluesky, where I had seen people casually talking about Mastodon being confusing and weird.
This is a really interesting post. Well worth a read if you’re interested in the approachability of Mastodon or other services.
Man I really wish I could use my micro.blog account on Ivory.
Being the dumbest person in the room means I am about to learn some interesting shit. I can listen, I can ask questions, and I’ll know more when I walk out of here than when I walked in.
The people that get on best in any situation are those that know their limits and are comfortable with them.
Did I see someone mentioning improvements to micro.blog bookmarks 👀
I was just about to publish this post, and then I started to think “why should I publish this text? Who is going to waste their time to read this crap?”, but you know what? I just don’t care what you think, here’s my post and you can do nothing about it
You wouldn’t think twice about a Thread or a Tweet, so why a blog post. More personal bloging please.
The most prolific thinkers aren’t thinking with external brains. If you’re a photographer, take more pictures. If you’re a writer, produce more text. The tools will work themselves out.
The biggest problem with changing tools is that it feels like progress. You suddenly feel like you’re getting something done, but you’re not. You’re merely shuffling deck chairs, but it feels like you’re making progress.
50 million people are engaging with Netflix and Dior on a platform that sat back and allowed the Rohingya people to be slaughtered in the name of ad engagement while the new proprietor of the social network next door is busy calling social justice a mind virus.
The fact that large platforms are adopting ActivityPub is not only validation of the movement towards decentralized social media, but a path forward for people locked into these platforms to switch to better providers. Which in turn, puts pressure on such platforms to provide better, less exploitative services.
You deserve growth that exists outside of the confines of shame and scarcity mindset. You deserve growth that pushes you towards freedom and away from endless comparisons—because if you spend your whole life competing with other people, when are you going to see yourself?
I think it’s about control and advertising. RSS represents a loss of control for many – especially to the new generation of founders and developers, who never knew a web without gates.
There is no other reason than advertising for site to restrict RSS
But you know what other word you can say in polite company without explanation? Tweet. Just say tweet! It has a definition in multiple dictionaries directly related to posting online. It’s a word that immediately connotes the specific kind of posting every microblog
It is busy and chaotic, but not in the same way as a bubbling restaurant or bar. It is more like a busy trade show where people are yelling motivational platitudes hoping you will buy their seminars.
One thing using Threads has made me think about, which might lead me back to using Mastodon more. Is that I feel like my shorter fleeting posts don’t really fit on my ActivityPub blog
The worst thing about Twitter dying is that there are now like 10 Twitters.
Suddenly Meta can see a much wider social graph for me. They can find any alt accounts. They can recommend those to the people I know on Threads / Instagram / Facebook – or to complete strangers.
Could this be used to widen their social graph and data colletion on others without their knowledge?
it’s also a hedge against other successful social services cropping up and Meta potentially being able to say “you can use Service X in Threads, look at how great we are
Agree with this completely. They can’t be seen the ‘de-platform’ people now, they just point to the door and tell them to move.
FYI you can’t delete your Threads profile once you activate it without deleting your instagram account! - link
Seeing that Mark Zuckerberg has tricked you into installing his dumb new app only to find out that you can’t get rid of it unless you delete your Instagram account as well
Didn’t get into the London Marathon again this year.

Sign into Threads.
Followed one person, got a feed instead full of performative, attention seeking junk and quickly deactivated again.
on an internet full of closed platforms, broken embeds, and crumbling indexes, the last reliable way to share anything is a screenshot. In other words, the camera roll is, at this point, the real content management system of the social web.
might be better this way. But the way it has all changed, and the speed with which it has happened, has left an everybody-sized hole in the internet. For all these years, we all hung out together on the internet. And now that’s just gone.
It’s for the better, but the internet is more than a little bit boring now
Wait.
Let me get this right. The business genius limited views on a platform that he sells ads on…
I have effectively endless ideas for the things I want to write about — just never enough time to write them. They each have a title and perhaps a few bullet points of content that I jot down when the idea sparks.
I have the same but very few turn into a blog post. I still have the 300 word, completely thought through, rigid structure in my head which means I only publish a few.
as platforms flattened everything into content, most news publishers, hiding behind antiquated ideas about objectivity and made desperate from vanishing ad revenue, allowed themselves to be flattened, as well. And now, even though they don’t think of themselves as a competing news fandoms, they absolutely are.
How do you make your life fulfilling, and complete meaningful tasks?
I’m more invested in ActivityPub than I am in Mastodon. Put another way, I’m more invested in RSS than I am in Inoreader,
Too many people think ActivityPub is Mastodon. All of the web should use it and let people subscribe to other people wherever they want. I can’t wait to be able to follow people on Instagram here.
We went to see the Seaside squad before we headed home. They all signed thank you to Lucie and it made my heart melt.
It’s easy for me to say, “Join Mastodon! Chat with me on Signal! It’s easy!” But to my sister and my college friends, it’s not.
I feel exactly the same. Could this be potentially useful, yes. Could it go wrong, yes. It brings more people I could interact with and that’s a win on my part.
There are too many people to reply too that sent good wishes for Lucie’s birthday. I really appreciate you all and your kind words. ❤️❤️
Thank you.

What’s wrong with WordPress? In my opinion it just feels overly complicated and bloated. The editing interface is too much for what I need. I’ve used it for years for a couple sites and blogs but I’ve never really liked it.
Honestly, I find the same. Every time I think about trying WordPress it seems to get further and further away from a blogging platform. The interface is bloated and overly complicated. I am sure it works for a huge number of people, but simplicity is not one of its strong points.
Plus that editor 🤮
In an effort to expand my reading notes, and also finish writing for a book, I am going to publish some of the highlights I made whilst reading - starting with Four Thousand Weeks

The Vision Pro may be merely an expensive gadget and a gimmick, but it represents a rationale that feels almost comically ill-suited to our moment: an invitation to narrow our collective aperture at a moment that asks us to bear witness and that demands our clear, unblinking gaze.
There’s a real philosophical difference in terms of how we’re approaching this. And seeing what they put out there and how they’re going to compete just made me even more excited
A social-media platform will always reflect the values of its owners, and Twitter’s credo is nearly identical to that of the lesser-known alt-tech sites.

I thought I saw a post on displaying the Mastodon permalink to a micro.blog post in a custom theme but cant find it now.
It would be good if a reader could click a link and be able to reply on mastodon easily.
Is there anyway to use micro.blog newsletter feature and send an email for new posts but only from a specific category?

Read through this again and made a lot more notes the second time around. Super interesting book, if most of it is more common knowledge now. A must read for anyone in marketing, design or just wants to understand the world better.
I am seriously considering switching to the Pixel fold.
We live in an information ecosystem whose design is dominated by the needs of the Google Search machine — a robot whose beneficent gaze can create entire industries just as easily as its cool indifference can destroy them.

So, update to my post yesterday about mechanical keyboards.
I bought a Keychron K3 because it was cheap and approachable. I like the click, I like the feel but the keys are at a weird angle. So I am not sold yet.
I think I might end up just sticking with a Apple Magic keyboard
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
God damn that film was dark, but entertaining still. Not sure how Guardians films manage to crow bar on so many jokes and explosions in the same film.
I paused by accident on a Jordan Peterson Instagram reel and now Meta thinks I’m some kind of incel. Showing me all sorts of misogynistic stuff.
It’s wild what people publish on the web.
I might regret this but I want my first mechanical keyboard.

Trying out Readwise Reader. It’s the type of app I really want to use, it makes a lot of sense but there’s just something about it that doesn’t feel right.

If people want a twitter like experience (well a replica) it’s awesome that that’s provided. I’m just not sold on the idea, I’d rather just use Mastodon or something else plugged into activity pub. I have hope they will.

Reading all the wondering on why people still use Twitter seems redundant. If you speak to anyone outside of tech or news circles that uses Twitter, they don’t care who owns the company.
It still provides what it has done for more than a decade and until it dies completely will continue to do so.
Read for a second time and although I understand the ideas I still feel as if all this PKM stuff is a solution looking for a problem.
Today is new book day!
Like Martin, I’ve been thinking about the intersection of Mastodon and micro.blog a little recently. As much as I dont want to consume social media like I did with twitter, I am starting to think that perhaps the amount of updates I post sometimes dont fit very well as being part of my blog
Whatever you think about Samsung. Trygalaxy is pretty damn impressive as a marketing push.
We have a carer starting with Lucie today.
It hurts to not be the one looking after her all the time, but I have to accept that she needs her independence and her dad looking after her all the time doesn’t always promote that.

Stories of people who threw away great lives because they couldn’t stop drinking have long been cliche, but there are many untold stories of relationships severed, jobs lost, and lives ending in misery because people couldn’t put down their phones.
This is one of the most life changing books I have read in a while. It has given me a new way of not just looking at my work, but also life itself.
Meaningful Highlights
good luck finding a time management system that makes any room for engaging productively with your fellow citizens, with current events, or with the fate of the environment.
There is an ‘anti hustle culture’ uprising going on at the moment. All of a sudden people are realising that we do not need to hustle through the best years of our lives and not leave room for things that make us happy. After all what is the point in living if not enjoying it.
Productivity is a trap. Becoming more efficient just makes you more rushed, and trying to clear the decks simply makes them fill up again faster.
There will always be more work. If you live in a capitalist society and you work for a company that holds the notion they are forced to grow, you are always screwed. Companies expect more and more from their workers, and getting towards the end of your list only leads to more tasks. It is only when you realise that you can only get done what you can the real freedom comes.
There is absolutely no point stressing about getting to the end because modern life is a treadmill you can never get off. Much like inbox zero only leads to more emails, all the modern productivity punchlines just lead to more work. By embracing the fact that the end will never arrive, you can relax, knock as many tasks off as you can and get some downtime.
in attempting to eliminate only the tedious experiences, we accidentally end up eliminating things we didn’t realise we valued until they were gone.
Many people must feel as I do that resting and doing atelic tasks are a ‘waste of time’. We are encouraged to squeeze every moment for the most return. A return on a later date that may never arrive.
Where’s the logic in constantly postponing fulfilment until some later point in time when soon enough you won’t have any ‘later’ left?
Using your time wisely is the best thing to do. But constantly using it for the benefit of the future is like a hoarder. Keeping everything just incase. The very definition of the word ‘purposiveness’ (using time well for future purposes) but never actually using it.
By trying too hard to make the most of his time, he misses his life.
there’s usually the unspoken fantasy that you might one day finally reach the state of having no problems whatsoever.
I find some peoples lives as if they are living a [[Provisional Life]] as if they are preparing for the one that comes next by doing all of these things. Confucius says “We have two lives, and the second begins when we realise we only have one.”
Zen teacher Charlotte Joko Beck puts it, it’s only unbearable for as long as you’re under the impression that there might be a cure.
I like this a lot to our struggles with Luice care. There is not solution or magic bullet to fix it, so there is no point fooling ourselves that anything is ever going to change.
The original Latin word for ‘decide’, decidere, means ‘to cut off’, as in slicing away alternatives; it’s a close cousin of words like ‘homicide’ and ‘suicide’.
This is why deciding feels painful sometimes.
It didn’t take Brown long to figure out that their pulsing sense of urgency was a form of self-medication – something they were doing as a way not to feel something else.
This quote from psychotherapist Stephanie Brown who had a practice in Silicon Valley on the 90’s hit me hard. Not being able to sit still and rest or enjoy a basic activity is a defence mechanism against being alone with yourself. This is an addict self medicating by distracting instead of intoxicating themselves.
keep a ‘done list’,
There is no better example of this than my task list at work. It is constantly filled with things I need to do. Like the heads of a hydra, as soon as I check one off, there is at least another to take its place. Which is fine, until a certain point where you realise you’re on a treadmill with no escape. It starts to feel a bit overwhelming and often leads to a lack of motivation. Pretty quickly, life could become untenable.
So let’s flip the thinking here. Instead of looking at the outstanding tasks, let’s look at the ones already checked off. Focus on a done list rather than a to-do list. Any time I feel a bit overwhelmed by what’s on my plate, not only do I remember there will always be more work, but also flip through my Bullet Journal and look at all the crossed off items.

Probably because I don’t have the energy to concentrate on anything else but one thing at a time.
I don’t worry about formatting for each social network. That’s a distraction.
There’s quite a bit I agree with in this post, but this statement, nope. You should be crafting the content for each network and making it as zero click as possible.
The monthly fee is incurred whether you print or not, and the ink cartridges occupy some liminal ownership space. You possess them, but you are, in essence, renting both them and your machine while you’re enrolled in the program.
There’s nothing wrong with emotion, with the feelings of anguish and anger, but you don’t have to cling to those feelings. You don’t have to feel a certain amount of bad to validate your experience.

Thank you micro.blog for keeping my timeline so quiet but still allowing me to interact with Mastodon 🙏
YouTube: hey guys this is my super minimalist bullet journal set up for 2023.
gets out 13 different markers, a full set water colours to draw a super intricate design on the first page that just says the year
I think the word minimalist has lost all meaning.
Anyone else noticed the weird spacing with micro.blog posts viewed on Mastodon? Usually around block quotes.
Not something I would see but someone just asked why they are always formatted weird. MB bug or issue with Mastodon?
I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make other people happy, because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless, and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that ~ Robin Williams
Come to think of it, it seems absurd to not be happy given that we are on this planet spinning in the middle of nowhere, that its taken us billions of years to get to this very moment, and that we are here only for a short period of time.
The entity will build on the success of Robinhood’s popular daily markets newsletter, Snacks, and will serve as a branding and customer acquisition tool.

There are some thoughts swirling in my head about not building your buisness on the back of someone else’s. But I need to get them straight before writing anything down.
Still sucks for app developers though. My presumption is they will all pivot to Mastodon apps now.

I like Readwise reader but its too fiddly to use. The web app especially is really confusing to navigate and I can’t quite put my finger on why.

I am glad that I found social.lol. Were it not there I might not have used mastodon at all. The usefulness of a good instance can’t be understated
Outside of Twitter, Day one must be my most downloaded and deleted app. It stays on my phone for a bit only to be deleted again when I don’t really know what to do.
I think its time micro.blog bumped the truncation limit up to 500 characters and just chopped it down if you share to Twitter.
Still, I rely on this user stylesheet to keep my sanity when browsing the web today. Unlike browser extensions, there are no security or privacy questions to worry about, and it is entirely controlled by the user.
I’m convinced that it is only a matter of time before legal issues become an issue to some Mastodon instance owners. With more users comes more scrutiny and more red tape.
It can be expanded on for your usage, hope it helps
Decided I’m going to uncouple of micro.blog from Mastodon. It’s just too noisy in this app.
I can’t transfer followers back so could I trouble you all for a follow @gr36@social.lol

I think I am going to start the slow and painful process of migrating back to using my Mastodon account. I cant migrate out of micro.blog like I can in to the service so I have a feeling this is going to suck!

Users of Mastodon spill a lot of digital ink writing about what is commonly referred to there as “the bird site.” The overall environment on Mastodon is very meta. It’s social media about social media.
Instagram? They moved to Meta’s store for obvious reasons, so you can no longer receive updates unless you also install Meta’s store That note taking app you’ve been using for years? They’re tired of paying Apple 30%, so they’re now in Epic’s store!"

Another cold morning with lots of frost. 🥶
Oh Lordy. Thank you Gluon for all the filters!
This solves one of my issues with moving everything to micro.blog
I’ve limited the RSS feed from my blog to just longer posts now as I think thats better for consuming. If you really want everything the json feed is untouched.
This is a really interesting thread on user requested features, leading inevitably to Mastodon and quote boosts.
I am really interested in the cognitive difference between your quote being at the top (a la Twitter), and your comments being underneath more like a link post.
I am really enjoying just having one touch point for the social web. I am sure there are downsides but they seem manageable.
Following Mastodon accounts on micro.blog seems much calmer with no boosts.

Hey do you guys remember Twitter?
How do I move my current Mastodon to the micro.blog ActivityPub one? There doesnt seem to be a way of doing it like there is transfering instances.
Do I have to just start again?
Downloaded and imported all of my Instagram data into my blog. I’ve done the same as I have done with Twitter (apart from left a few photos up), leave my account open but change the password to one I don’t know and leave.

How do I get replies to posts on mastodon to show up as replies on blog posts?
Bridgy doesn’t seem to work any more and just messes up the post on micro.blog.
This may just be my tiredness talking but social media as a whole is starting to feel a bit pointless. The interaction and enjoyment I get is decreasing fast, and I suspect it is because others are feeling the same.

I absolutely love the filters on Mastodon. I haven’t needed to use them much, but they actually mute the words properly. When compared to other services this is a breath of fresh air, I can really curate my feed to be what I want to see.

All no problem and only 12% battery used. Thanks Apple Watch Ultra.
I dont think it’s the time for mass abondonment of Twitter just yet, but I can see where it’s going already with the Meme lord in charge.

Still painful to read because I remember the emotions, but I am happy that I can now face them.
Sold my Series 7 today so I’m all in on the Apple Watch Ultra. So I think it’s time for some words, a review of sorts.
Need to do this for a bit. Getting fed up with the time wasting I do and the way it makes me feel afterwards.

No idea why but I’ve fallen back in love again with Shortcuts and have built loads of them over the last few days to automate hyper specific tasks.
Technology is wonderful, when it works.
Not sure when it happened but it would appear Bridgy doesn’t work with micro.blog any longer? the few replies I just tested removed all the conversation from the post and duplicated it numerous times. @manton

I went around and tried all the ai copy writing bots do you don’t have to.
In a surprise to absolutely no one. They all suck.
On reflection, I would have to conclude that the ethics of early Buddhism do not offer blanket solutions to all the complex predicaments of the human situation. Perhaps that was never their intention—perhaps their intention was to issue guidelines rather than proclaim moral absolutes, to posit ideals even for those who cannot perfectly fulfill them. Nevertheless, the complexity of the human condition inevitably confronts us with circumstances in which moral obligations run at crosscurrents.
Annoyingly. After a bit of curation I’ve found instagram Reels to be a good resource for a wide range of things.

The fact that people seem to think the Apple Watch Ultra is a replacement for the old Edition range topper rather than a version to use in pretty specific circumstances is strange.
I understand the upload limit for podcast on micro.blog is 45mb.
What is the longest recording this could be whilst still sounding good.
I blame @maique because I am now playing around with Drafts
All the concerns I have stem from this “user-engagement-at-all-cost” business practice. Irrespective of how pleasing this interaction feels in the moment, it leaves me furious for the time wasted.
I guess this makes sense really, not just online but in our lives. We are constantly moulding ourselves to be ‘better’ but not always better in the grand scheme of things. Better for something or usually someone.
I love Matter and everything, but it really has to get better at recomendations. I am so sick of American politics and old posts.
The fact I can now export reading notes in Matter into Apple Notes and really round off my note taking system is brilliant
After seeing a few posts about it. Here’s how I post to micro.blog including an image upload shortcut.
Hope this helps people.

The fact that when people refer to “the notch” everyone knows exactly what you mean is justification enough
be careful of “doesn’t that already exist? have you heard of XYZ?” when analyzing or sharing an idea for a product. Yes, sometimes a new solution is very well redundant, but sometimes there is still untapped opportunity.
There was some great light when we were shopping in Nottingham this morning. It’s a shame I couldn’t hang around a bit longer and roam around with my camera.
I am tempted to just move to one blog rather than splitting things between micro.gregmorris.co.uk and gregmorris.co.uk. Seems redundant having both.

Thanks though! Some interesting points raised.
Why do companies value new customers so much highly than retaining current ones? Where is the loyalty and appreciation for those already supporting the business?
Seems like a poor decision to me but it’s absolutely rampant.
This is me but with Twitter. Not sure if everyone has grown up and has lives to live but my timeline is nothing like it was a few years ago.
Now I am no longer podcasting I’m considering returning to a newsletter.
Perhaps every two weeks.
Best description of Instagram I’ve seen, and all in one sentence!
